PANEL
UPGRADES
DONE RIGHT.
Every circuit labeled. Every connection clean. We're known for the quality of our panel work — and the detail that goes into identifying every single breaker before we leave the job.
The Panel That
Sets the Standard.
Every panel we install or upgrade gets the same treatment — clean wiring, every circuit tested and individually labeled. No mystery breakers. No shortcuts. This is the standard we hold ourselves to on every job, and the reason most of our work comes by referral.
We identify, test and clearly label every breaker. Your home inspector, your electrician twenty years from now, and you — everyone will know exactly what controls what.
We pull the permit, coordinate the utility meter pull and pass inspection. All documentation delivered to you. Nothing skipped, nothing hidden.
Upgrading to 200A or 400A gives your home the capacity it needs for EV chargers, generators, modern appliances and additions — without tripping breakers or overloading circuits.
Older homes in Massachusetts frequently have recalled panel brands that fail to trip under overload. We replace them completely and safely — with documentation for your insurance company.
Which Upgrade
Do You Need?
Two most common upgrade paths — both delivered with the same standard of quality and documentation.
The standard upgrade for homes built before 1990. A 100A panel is undersized for modern electrical loads — two EV chargers, a heat pump and modern appliances will overwhelm it. 200A gives you the headroom to run your home safely and efficiently.
The upgrade for homes going fully electric or adding significant loads — two EV chargers, a whole-home generator, a heat pump system and large appliances all running simultaneously. 400A gives you complete headroom, now and in the future.

Service & Panel Upgrades
From First Call
to Completed Panel.
No surprises, no delays. Here's exactly what to expect from start to finish.
We visit your home, assess the current panel, service entrance and load requirements. You get a clear written estimate — no pressure.
We pull the electrical permit and coordinate with your utility for the meter pull. We schedule around your availability and confirm everything in writing.
We arrive on time, remove the old panel, install the new service, wire and label every circuit, and restore power — typically in a single day.
We pass the electrical inspection and walk you through every labeled circuit before we leave. You get all documentation for your records and insurance.
Signs You Need
A Panel Upgrade.
Any of these sound familiar? Don't wait — panel issues get worse over time and can become safety hazards.
Your panel is drawing more current than it can safely handle. Repeated tripping is a warning your system is undersized for your actual load.
Lights flickering when appliances turn on indicates voltage fluctuations — often a sign the panel can't handle simultaneous loads.
A Level 2 EV charger needs a dedicated 240V circuit and sometimes a panel upgrade. We assess your panel before any EV installation.
These panels are known to fail to trip under overload conditions — a fire risk. Many insurers won't cover homes with them. They need to be replaced.
Older Massachusetts homes frequently have 60A or 100A panels that were never designed for today's electrical loads. A free estimate will tell you exactly where you stand.
Some insurance providers in Massachusetts require panel upgrades as a condition of coverage. We provide all necessary documentation for your insurer.
